1. The WeatherMail subscription service
Nobeltec will automatically deliver the present day weather along with forecasts to any specified email account. It does not matter where you download the file only that you remember its location.

Select a download location, like 'Desktop', to place the weather file.

c.

The downloaded file is a self-extracting program. Simply double click on the weather icon to 'unwrap' the weather file. Start Visual Navigation Suite 6.0.

d.

This is the easiest way but requires that your computer have access to the Internet. Using this option tells the Visual Series to go to the nobeltec web site directly and get the files for you.

c.

A short wizard appears that walks you through the data retrieval process. The first screen asks you to choose the region that best suits your needs.

e.

Finally, click on the 'Download Now' button, which automatically completes the weather installation.

3. Download a weather file using the Nobeltec Passport Weather Center

b.

Click on the menu option for Weather Center.

c.

On the Weather Center front pages, click on the 'Download Now' button.

d.

e.

Choose your Weather service level. If you choose the Silver or Gold options, you are asked to input your financial information and then verify your information in a typical online purchasing set of screens. You are also offered to sign up on a monthly or annual subscription service.

f.

If you chose the Bronze service or have finished entering your information, click on the 'Download Now' button.

Visual Series Weather Toolbar
Once your data files are downloaded and you have enabled weather overlay, the weather status bar is displayed at the bottom of your screen.

This new status bar is always on when the weather is overlaid on your charts. The top row of the weather status bar shows you the data regions that you are currently viewing. If you have more than one region installed you can toggle between regions by clicking on the down arrow and selecting one of the other installed regions. It also shows the current system date and allows you to move forward, backwards or return to the system date. The download now enables the user to automatically download new data while connected to the internet a walks the user through the simple process of choosing your service level.

The second row includes a list of the data buttons for which you have access for the specified region. Clicking on these buttons toggles on and off their respective data sets.

The bottom row of the weather status bar displays the data values for the current cursor position. For the Silver and Gold weather service levels, more data is shown.
