Automatically
Update Your Charts - Weekly
|
|

|
|
Until
now, the only way to update your charts was to hand
correct them every week using the Coast Guard's
"Notice To Mariners." Maptech and NOAA use the
Internet to automate this process. Buy the Professional
version of any Digital ChartKit region and get 52 weeks
of USCG, NIMA and Canadian NTM's. It's the best way to
correct your digital - and paper - charts.

Weekly Corrections - Before and After
|

When
Cousin's Light was removed, Maptech emailed the change to
Professional Edition subscribers as part of an automatic
weekly update. After downloading the change, they could toggle
back and forth between the base chart and the revised chart.

Digital
ChartKit Professional includes Chart Navigator software to let
you see the "cleared through" date for your charts.
You can also pull up all the Notice To Mariner information to
view the specifics of the applied NTM corrections.

If you
hand correct your paper charts, the Digital ChartKit 2001
Professional will save you valuable time. You can print out
NTM Chart Packets and paste exact scale corrections right onto
paper charts.
