OCENS software, systems, email service and Weather-on-Demand
weather services set the standard for access to reliable, yet inexpensive,
weather and ocean information anywhere in the world. Whether your
preferences range from using the Internet over satellite or cellular
phone, HF weatherfax broadcasts, or globally available satellite
imagery, OCENS offers packages that can address your needs. Satellite
imagery, weather charts, ocean currents, ocean temperatures, GRIB
data, buoy data, NEXRAD radar, interactive weather, text forecast
including Navtex, and more.

WeatherNet is a system designed to optimize the
download of weather products via wireless connections. The product
offers highly compressed text, images, charts, buoy data, radar,
GRIB files, and many more formats. A total of over 8500 continuously
updated weather products are available to the user on demand by
the push of a button. The user simply drags the weather products
he wishes to download into batch folders and then pushes the download
button. WeatherNet immediately connects to the server via a wireless
connection (sat phone, HF/Pactor Radio) and downloads the requested
data. After the download WeatherNet can be configured to automatically
display the new weather data with OCENS WeatherStation or SeaStation
software or other viewers.

WeatherStation is OCENS’ premier weather
chart processing package. It starts with its built-in Internet Weather
Chart Library of hundreds of charts organized by location and type.
Pick the one that meets your needs, click, and let WeatherStation
auto-downlaoad it to your computer.
Unlike any other weather chart processing software in the world,
Interactive Chart Mapping permits the user to transform acquired
charts into interactive images that dynamically display latitude,
longitude, bearing and range readouts at the point of the cursor
as you move it across your chart. Use Chart Animation to loop charts
together and gain an intuitive feel for weather dynamics. Pinpoint
ocean features. Create 'weather-referenced' routes that can be incorporated
into your navigation decisions.
Out to sea with only a radio? Plug your HF receiver into your computers
soundcard and capture radio fax broadcasts. Using the built-in broadcast
schedule finding frequencies and times is a snap.

SeaStation direct capture systems deliver all
of the image and chart processing and HF radiofax capabilities of
the WeatherStation, plus the flexibility to acquire imagery directly
from satellites near your location anywhere in the world. Software
enhancements allow you to track satellite locations, schedule the
reception of specific images, capture images as the satellites pass
overhead, and then toggle into weatherfax mode to receive broadcast
weather charts.
- Global coverage, ZERO monthly or per image charges!
