For subscribers using the Globalstar FAU-200 fixed phone calls can be placed from US/Caribbean Home Service Area and Canada to any standard phone number in the world. Airtime Minutes included in Service Price Plans are applicable only the United States and Caribbean Home Service Area. Outside of the United States and Caribbean roaming rates apply. The
Cell Towers in the Sky. Globalstar works today where traditional
communications may never work. Globalstar uses a 48-satellite network that
takes advantage of proven satellite technology. The satellites simply receive
call signals and relay them back to Globalstar gateways. There is no voice
delay when using Globalstar service due to the satellites' low-earth orbit. And

designed to work best in Temperate Zones like North America.
